Do you want to build a snowman? Yes! Especially when it makes a terrific last-minute gift for anyone on your Christmas list!

These Snowmen are sweet, inexpensive gifts you can customize for anyone on your list. Why not make some today?

Here’s how:

First, gather these supplies:

  • Large chocolate bars like Ghiradelli or Lindt

  • Stretchy gloves (usually less than $2 a pair)

  • Ribbon or yarn

  • A 7” square wrapper featuring a snowman drawing or a photo

  • Tape

  • Extras like a little note, cash, tickets, or gift cards

Gather supplies like these
  1. Cut out the snowman wrapper, wrap it around the chocolate bar, and tape in place.

  2. Put one glove inside the other. (The easiest way is to put one on your hand and pull the other on top of it. Then gently pull them off together.)

  3. Pull the cuffs of the gloves over the top of the chocolate bar.

  4. Tie a ribbon around the glove between the top of the chocolate bar and the bottom of the glove’s fingers.

  5. Tuck any extras (a note, cash, tickets, or gift card) between the cuffs of the two gloves or under the cuffs at the back of the chocolate bar.

Psst: Make extras and keep them under the tree in case you need a quick gift for a neighbor, delivery person, or a surprise guest.

Having a simple, satisfying, no-stress gift option helps keep focus on what truly matters at Christmas - celebrating the gift God gave all humankind, our Savior Jesus.

Now, cuddle up, relax, and read “For Real” in Pairables 2 where Chloe dreams of building a snowman in sunny San Jose.

Merry Christmas! May your Christmas be filled with joy and peace and overflow with hope for the new year.

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” (Romans 15:13)
